Chocolate Box

Here's my attempt to make a chocolate box for Valentine's day. It didn't turn out too well. I didn't have a wax-coated paper bag, so I had to to make a bag/box out of aluminum foil. Also, I didn't have a pastry brush to coat the inside of the box properly - I had to slather it on with a spatula.

Patio Project

Here are the beginning stages of my patio project. I'm digging the hole about 7 inches deep so I can pack it with stones and sand before laying on the pavers. It had been raining occasionally for the last 3 weeks, so the ground was soft and easy to dig. However, it snowed last weekend, so I wasn't able to do any work. Almost all of the snow has melted by today since it's gotten pretty warm.

Garden Box 2

Here is my second attempt at a raised garden. I used the same materials as the first one, but made it twice as tall. We haven't decided exactly what we'll plant yet. I'm filling it with dirt that I dig up for my patio project. I think, however, I'll have more excavated dirt than the garden box can hold, so I will have no place to put the extra dirt....
